Trust & verification standards
In healthcare, credentials carry life-or-death implications. HospiCareers verifies qualification claims per-credential and per-method. We never display arbitrary blanket badges or inflate verification claims.
Credential States & Meanings
Every credential displayed on a candidate profile reflects one of the following documented states:
independently_verified
Checked against authoritative primary sources (State Medical Council, NMC, or State Nursing Council registries).
document_reviewed
Registration certificate or degree document has been manually inspected by the HospiCareers compliance team.
under_review
Document is currently assigned to a verified reviewer for manual inspection and registry cross-referencing.
submitted
Uploaded and stored in private encrypted storage, awaiting reviewer assignment in the verification queue.
needs_reverification
The credential has expired, renewal proof is required, or additional supporting documentation was requested.
rejected
Reviewer rejected the submission with a specific, immutable reason recorded in the candidate's private audit log.
How Verification Audits are Recorded
Reviewer Provenance
Every review documents exactly who inspected the document, the exact timestamp, and the verification method applied.
Immutable Audit Trail
All verification events, approvals, notes, and rejections are permanently recorded and cannot be retroactively edited.
Lifecycle Tracking
Credential expiry dates are tracked automatically. Candidates receive proactive alerts 60 and 30 days prior to certificate expiration.
Privacy & Redaction
Raw uploaded identity and degree documents are accessible exclusively to authorized compliance personnel, never publicly scraped.
Regulatory Reality in India
Medical, dental, and nursing registries across India vary significantly by state council. Where automated real-time APIs do not exist, HospiCareers maintains strict manual document-review procedures. We never pretend an automated live check occurred when a manual check was conducted.
